Details
LOYA Companion is a pet diamond grown from the fur or ashes of your dog, cat, horse or other animal companion, the one who was always there. Here you choose the shape and carat of your diamond. In the next step, you choose how you would like to carry it.
How your Companion diamond is made
We recover the carbon from the fur or ashes you entrust to us and grow your diamond with CVD, in one reactor reserved for your diamond alone. Never shared. Never mixed with another. Growth takes an estimated 4 – 6 months, and at meaningful milestones we keep you close to the journey with personal updates.
How much fur or ashes is needed
Less than most people expect.
- Fur: from about 4 grams: a small lock that fills the container in your Collection Kit roughly halfway
- Ashes: from about 60 grams
Gentle, clear instructions are inside your kit. If you are unsure whether you have enough, please contact us before sending anything.

Your diamond arrives loose, presented in its LOYA box. Keep it as it is, or have it set by hand in a handcrafted 18K gold LOYA ring or pendant, or by a jeweller of your choice.
ORIGIN
Grown with CVD from carbon recovered from the material you entrust to us. One dedicated reactor. Never shared, never mixed with another diamond.
SETTING
Arrives loose, with its IGI Certificate and personal MYLOYA card. Keep it as it is, or have it set by a jeweller of your choice, now or later, at your own pace.
Creation Time
4 – 6 months, estimated. Every LOYA diamond is grown individually, from seed to IGI-graded stone, with personal updates along the way.

Excellent or Ideal (Round Shape)
Maximum light return, fire and brilliance, the highest cut grade awarded by IGI. Other shapes, for which IGI awards no cut grade, are finished to our own exacting proportions.

0.40 – 3.00ct
Choose the carat weight that gives your diamond the presence you envision. If you would like a diamond above 3.00ct, we will personally explore the possibilities with you.

Care Instructions
WHILE YOUR DIAMOND IS LOOSE
Handle it by the edge (the girdle), not the face, to avoid fingerprints and oils
Store it in its LOYA box or a soft pouch, away from other stones, diamonds can scratch each other
Keep it away from perfume, lotion, and household chemicals
BEFORE HAVING IT SET
Your IGI Certificate belongs with your diamond, bring it along when you have it set.
Have it set by hand in a LOYA 18K gold ring or pendant, or take it to a jeweller of your choice. Please note that jewellery made or altered by another jeweller falls outside LOYA’s jewellery workmanship warranty.
CLEANING
Rinse gently with lukewarm water and mild soap, use a soft brush if needed, then dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Avoid ultrasonic cleaners at home.
A Note on Diamonds
- Diamonds are the hardest material on earth, but they can scratch each other
- Never store multiple diamond pieces together in one box
- A diamond's brilliance is maintained by keeping its facets clean and clear
